Introducing Crewhaus: edition games for your inner circle

Famous Here goes deeper with Crewhaus, a series of focused, one-room edition games — built for the crew that already has the lore, the screenshots, and the recurring inside joke.

Aug 20, 2026 · 4 min read

When we first started Famous Here, the question we kept getting from the same eight crews was different from the rest: "we already know each other’s lore — where is the game that runs the night we already share?" The answer is Crewhaus.

Crewhaus is an edition series — a handful of focused, one-room formats built for crews that already have the inside jokes, the quote screenshots, the photo dumps, the recurring nicknames. Each Crewhaus drops a curated prompt catalog pre-loaded for the night, plus a single round bundle tuned to one specific shape of night.

Why now

We spent the summer running the same crews through the same canon and watching what stuck: which opening prompts land, which tags survive the recap, which rounds the host actually wants to run again next month. Crewhaus is shaped by that evidence — every edition is the leanest, loudest version of a night we already play.

The first Crewhaus maps debuted this week. The roadmap through the rest of the year adds more — and the tool that lets the host write their own is in the pipe. If your crew is the kind that already has a shared folder of screenshots, the editions are ready for you.

If you want to follow along, the blog here is where we ship the dispatch notes: what each edition dropped, what the moderation round trip surfaced, what the recap share said about the night. New posts land here first. The newsletter is the same content, just one tap away.
